My name is Brian Huang, and I am an art director, concept artist, and teacher who has worked on PC and mobile games at studios such as Blizzard Entertainment, Netease Games, Kabam, and much more.
Some games I have worked on include: World of Warcraft (The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm), Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Diablo 3, and many unannounced titles. Some of my experience also includes building up multiple art teams and companies, ranging from indie to AAA studios.
I received my education and BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, learning from the best instructors such as Robh Ruppel (Naughty Dog, Into the Spiderverse), Scott Robertson, Norm Schureman (Dynamic Sketching), Kevin Chen (Concept Design Academy), and many more.
From my experience in both business and teaching, I have found that while all schools, instructors, and tutorials teach the "what" of learning, nobody teaches the "how" of learning.
My goal is to pass on some of the knowledge and hard lessons learned through over 20 years in the digital art industry, and to help guide the next generation of young artists with the learning tools to reach their professional goals.
